Snow Day

It doesn't happen often in Dallas but we had about an inch of snow in the North Texas region. It was brutally cold and windy as well.

Micro Dallas

I took a walk the other day and came upon this acorn and flower. It reminded me of fall so I thought I would share this with everyone.

I was walking through Highland Park the other day and stumbled upon this beautiful home. This area is reminiscent of the old Northeast neighborhoods.

I went to the Maverick's game on Saturday night and took a picture of the American Airlines Center from inside. Mavs won by 6 points.

Red Bull Art?

These posters are publicizing an exhibit of art made out of Red Bull cans. I drink it for energy but I guess others have other thoughts of what to do with it.

This crazy statue sits right outside of the West Side Market in Downtown.

The city of Dallas seal sits proudly at the entrance of City Hall.

Willow Bend Mall Statue

This statue greats you at the entrance of the food court at the Willow Bend Mall in Plano. The mall is ready for the Christmas rush.

Latino Cultural Center

The Latino Cultural Center located just north of Deep Ellum is a place where all people of Latin American countries can use to help find work and just learn how to live in the Dallas are.

Walk of the Cows

On the East side of town there is a large sculpture garden that includes the walk of the cows. The large bronze cows are there to emulate a cattle heard.

Bank of America Tower

The B of A Tower looks nice with a glow from the reflection of the sun.

Magnolia Hotel

The Magnolia Hotel is housed in the old Magnolia Building in Downtown. This hotel has taken a new edge feel even while sitting in an early 1900's building. This is the sculpture that sits right above the entrance to the building.

Dallas City Hall

Kind of a funky building that houses the cities government offices. There is a large reflection pool directly in front of the slanted building.

Boardwalk in the West End Market

This wooden walkway in the West End Market area photographed nicely in B & W. This area is slowly being vacated by businesses moving to the new Victory area of town.

Cowboy and Flowers?

Not your typical site, a rugged cowboy and flowers. This photo was taken downtown at Marilla Triangle Park.
