This Main St in Downtown Dallas. In the 60's this was the main area of commerce but through the 80's & 90's it fell into disrepair. It has started it's revival since new apartments and restaurants have begun to pop up along Main St.
These over and under passes were given to local artists so that they could display their art to everyone. To be honest, I don't understand these drawings but I'm sure they have some symbolism.
Down near the Turtle Creek are of Dallas is Lee Park. This park encompasses a mansion used for parties and weddings as well as this statue of Robert E Lee.
The 2nd most famous building in the Dallas skyline has to be this on with the hole in it. There must be some intriguing views from those corner offices!!!
It looks like a scene out of "Back to the Future", but it is the city hall of Southlake, TX. It is part of a new town center complex that are becoming common across the country.
Ok, I know that this wasn't taken last night against the Heat but I need to give a little respect to the Mavericks. For the first time in team history they are playing for the championship and are leading the series 1-0. GO MAVS!!!!
This theatre is located in Grapevine, TX and has an old time feel to it. The entire town tries to hold onto its roots of being a town from an older day.
Ok ladies, this is a photo of the original Neiman Marcus in downtown Dallas which still stands proud. Just like Saks in NY, Neiman Marcus has the old feel with all of the modern day amenities.
