Thunderheads

This photo was taken last evening when massive thunderheads developed about 40 miles north of Dallas. This happens regularly in Dallas when the humid Gulf of Mexico air and the cool northern air clash. These same clouds spun into tornados later in the night eventually taking 3 lives.

beautiful and yet destructive. My friend used to live in Texas and she said tornadoes terrified her...

Great photo. It makes me homesick to see Texas again. Having grown up in Texas my memory is that we were thought to respect tornadoes not to be afraid of them.
