Victorian Dallas

There is a cluster of Victorian era homes that still exist just north of Dallas. I don't believe that people still live in them but many of them have been turned into antique stores and other businesses. I think that they have done a great job restoring all of them.

That is a fine paint job. I never would have thought of combining those colors - but it looks very good.

P.S. I just noticed these are the same colors as the fountain in the Informart, posted earlier on your blog. I wonder if one was the inspiration for the other?

Beautiful shot! These colors look great together. I had no idea there were vicotrian homes in the Dallas area. Great blog. Hopefully I'll be visiting Dallas in the winter and I'll be keeping my eye out for these sights.

Painted ladies are more common on the West Coast - nice to see that Dallas does have some. I shall have to go looking for them.

I didn't realise that you had any buildings that old in Dallas, and they are so well looked after!
