Walking to the Sky

This is one of the most interesting statues I have ever seen. This is part of the Nasher Sculpture Garden in downtown Dallas and is visible on the Northwest side of town. Jonathan Borofsky is the creating artist and the official name of this piece is “Walking to the Sky”. Do not miss this museum while in Dallas.

Marieta, Thank you for the comments. The statue rises 100 feet (30.48 meters). It is very impressive.

I am so happy to see a Dallas blog! I have lived in Dallas about a year now, wanted to start doing one, but wasn't sure I could keep it up. The first time I went to the Nasher, i got a membership. Love it, and this is one of the most interesting photos I have seen of this sculpture.

I was just there this morning to see the Renzo Piano show that ends in about a week.

Also not to miss is the Crow Collection of Asian Art and the Dallas Museum of Art, both just across the street from the Nasher.
