Reunion Arena

This is the entrance to Reunion Arena in Downtown. It used to be home to the Mavericks and Stars before the new American Airlines Center was opened. This building was also home to some 200 evacuees from New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina.

Dallas' Underground

We don't have a huge metro system here in Dallas but we do have a few lines that bring people into downtown. This line of the DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) runs north from downtown Dallas to Plano.

Sun Rays over the W Hotel Pool

Taken on Saturday, I was up on the 16th floor of the W Hotel where the pool sits when I saw the clouds part and the suns rays beamed down. The pool gives a wild optical illusion. Talk about an infinite edge pool.

The Houston St. Viaduct in Downtown crosses in front of Reunion Arena and over I-35 to the other side of the Trinity River. Underneath it looks a little like something you would see in Europe.

Today is Cotton Bowl day here and Dallas and it pits Nebraska vs Auburn. Currently the game is tied at 14 all at the time I am writing this.
